OUR ETHOS

Ujima means collective work and responsibility

Ujima (oo-JEE-mah) is a Swahili word and principle meaning “collective work and responsibility”. At Ujima Collective, this means walking alongside people through their NDIS journey with practical, respectful and relationship-based support. We meet people where they are and work with participants, families and support teams to build confidence, connection and meaningful change — so no one has to navigate mental health, disability or complex systems alone.

Support Coordination

  • understand your plan and funding
  • connect with suitable providers and services
  • set up supports that match your goals
  • monitor budgets and agreements
  • prepare for reviews and reassessments
  • communicate with the NDIA
  • problem-solve when supports are not working

This support is about helping your plan work better in everyday life.

Recovery is about having the right support to keep moving forward.

You do not have to navigate this alone

Life, mental health and the NDIS can feel overwhelming when everything is sitting on your shoulders.

Ujima Collective helps bring the right people, supports and services together so things feel clearer, calmer and more manageable.

We work alongside you to understand what is needed, coordinate practical support and take the next step forward.
